VISUAL TESTING
A visual testing is an optical inspection of a product or component conducted directly by the tester. There are three methods:
- direct visual testing without assistive equipment (with the naked eye)
- direct visual testing including assistive equipment (endoscope, magnifier, mirror)
- indirect visual testing (camera, videoscope)
A visual testing requires an excellent, highly complex vision which is checked annually during a medical examination based on DIN-regulations.
